one time when you were first learning magic

you were having this problem where you had this huge pent up backlog in you

so i had you do a painting spell the hang colours in the air

and you lost control with it and spattered everything with stains, you and me and the cats and the ceiling, and you wouldn't stop apologizing, and i couldn't stop laughing

it took us days to clean it up

we work the maintenance detail together, and one time we had to install a fireplace for a guy who was my warden at the time and I spent the whole job complaining while you rolled your eyes at me and got increasingly like 'quentin maybe if you helped me it would be over quicker' except without ever saying so cause you're too gentle, and i didn't, but eventually i did shut up and sit down and just read to you to keep you company even if i couldn't bring myself to participate in his shitty reno

I meant it to be a nice story but you were upset with it on like a spiritual and existential level
